The radical demands of discipleship in the Sermon on the Mount go beyond expecting us to be “good people.” They teach us how to live into God’s abundance. This is true at every level of our lives—personally, communally, and globally. As Jesus’s disciples of, we are called to be agents of abundant goodness, multiplying God’s goodness in others’ lives and in the environment we share with every created thing.
