get so used to being able to control things remotely that it doesn't impress us
any more. But when I was playing with my son's remote-control robot the other
day, I still marveled at this amazing technology.
It got me thinking about this sermon series about empire and how those in power
liked to control things. I then wondered, who or what controls me? Am I really
as free as I think I am? Do I really allow God to direct my life? These are
things I reflect on in this podcast, which uses Luke 2:1-21.

upheaval in the world.

called to flip our own empires.
